Back to Conference

Down to sunny Bournemouth for Conference. It's a big one this year, with it being Gordon's first Conference at the helm. So far I have spoken at several fringe events, attended a meeting with Sir Michael Lyons, BBC Chairman, and taken part in some round table debates. It seems like everyone is down in Bournemouth, so it's a great opportunity to catch up with people, and get a lot of meetings in because everyone is in such close proximity.

Burundi

First of all let me apologise for my lack of blogging of late. It's been very hectic recently, with conferences and visits and I've not been keeping up to date with this blog as much as I'd like, so sorry about that!

I'm in Burundi at the moment, with the All Party Parliamentary Group. It's a fascinating and beautiful country. When I get back I shall tell you more about what I did there.

Anyway, I'm back in Westminster on Monday, so will get back to my regular posts from then on!
