Calling all under 26 year olds

Unfortunately, I've already turned 27 so can't participate in this great free theatre scheme the Government's funding. If you're lucky enough to be 26 or under, however, you can now log on to: http://www.anightlessordinary.org.uk and find your nearest theatre offering free tickets. I know that the Millfield Arts Centre on Silver Street is offering free tickets so for all of you living in Edmonton, contact them for your chance to have a night out for free. Enjoy!

Once we've got all the under 26 year olds seated in the theatres with the free tickets, maybe we can sort out some of the more pressing issues in our area.

"Overcrowded maternity units forced to turn mothers away. Chase Farm Hospital." This is London - 9 Feb 2009

"Appeal After Violent Nightclub Attack." 4RFV - 4 Feb 2009

"New appeal after triple stabbing." Enfield & Haringey Independent - 28 Jan 2009

My support for positive initiatives, such as these free theatre seats, does not mean I'm any less concerned about other issues in Edmonton. In fact, giving young people a variety of ways to ocupy themselves, through youth centres, leisure facilities, or even seeing a play at the local theatre, could be a way of reducing violence on the streets.
