This week is Carers Week. It's designed to draw attention to the important role carers play in society and to ensure that their work is not overlooked nor ignored. There are 7,925 carers in Edmonton who sacrifice their time, and a lot of other things, to look after loved ones whilst receiving little in return, and I respect them all for the important role they play in so many people's lives.
